" The human eye is amazing. It can remember scenes with big differences in light, like when there are both very bright and very dark areas, and make them all look beautiful, even if you're looking against the light.
But taking photos is different. Many people find that the pictures they take don't look the way they wanted them to, especially in tricky situations like photographing trains.
In the spring, the Isumi Railway in Chiba Prefecture is covered in yellow rapeseed flowers, attracting not only train enthusiasts but also photography lovers. I visited this picturesque railway when the rapeseed flowers were in full bloom, and I managed to capture some great shots.
While I was there, I noticed the sun shining brightly in the spring sky. I wanted to capture the feeling of that moment with the golden rapeseed flowers and the colorful train. If I had taken a normal photo, the sky would have been too bright, and either the train or the flowers would have looked washed out.
To get the photo I wanted, I used a KANI Premium Soft GND 0.9 filter. It didn't add any strange colors to the picture, and it kept the sky looking clear and blue. Most importantly, it helped me capture the image just the way I saw it, without any issues.
It was a train ride that made me feel the warmth, vividness, and atmosphere of spring. That's when my photography, which usually wasn't quite what I wanted, turned into something special. "

" The Aichi Prefecture coastline, a place I often visit, is filled with variously shaped rocks. The appearance of these reefs changes depending on the weather and tides, offering a rich variety of scenic views. On the particular day I went, the waves weren't very high, so we didn't expect a breathtaking scene. However, the low tide coincided with the evening, revealing usually submerged reefs. To make these reefs stand out, I decided to use a long exposure technique.
Along a rocky coastline with no sandy beaches, long exposure photography has a captivating effect. It transforms crashing waves into a misty image, emphasizing the rock formations and creating a dreamlike atmosphere. I opted for a lengthy 90-second shutter speed, partly because the sea was calm that day. In such situations, the ND1000 filter from KANI came in handy.
KANI's ND filter features a robust water-repellent coating, allowing me to continue shooting even if I got splashed by waves during the exposure. I could easily remove water droplets with a blower, ensuring efficient capture of the ever-changing light. Moreover, this filter minimizes color distortion, giving me confidence in choosing long exposure settings.
For beach photography, this KANI ND 1000 filter is an essential tool in my kit."

" This photo was taken in a studio with a Western-style theme. I took out the fancy chandelier and used a soft, fluffy black skirt for the shoot. I used a special KANI 2-64 variable ND filter that adjusts the amount of light that enters the camera lens. It's useful because you can see the effect while changing it on the spot. The model and the lace on the clothes still looked fantastic in the photo, even with the filter. It didn't make the picture quality worse. "
