The KANI Premium Reverse GND 0.6 (ND4) is designed for sunrise and sunset photography, where the brightest part of the sky is close to the horizon. This reverse graduated neutral density filter offers its strongest darkening effect at the center and gradually becomes lighter toward the top and bottom, helping to balance exposure in scenes with intense horizontal light.

Originally developed at the request of photography expert Junichi Date, this filter is especially effective for capturing fireworks such as star mines, or as part of a dual-filter setup with KANI's Dual Purpose GND.

Crafted from German SCHOTT B270 optical glass with double-sided ultra-precise polishing, this filter ensures excellent flatness and clarity. The Premium LR MC coating dramatically reduces internal reflections between lens and filter surfaces, minimizing ghosting and flare—even with the sun in the frame.
