These pads are used as a countermeasure against rays of light from the side when shooting with long exposures using ND high-density filters.
When using with the Half GND, the pads are attached to the holder side, so attach the Half GND to the front and the full-length ND or LPRF to the subject side.
The light-shielding pad is a cut-out sheet, and the excess sheet in the middle can be used for attaching to the holder side where reflection is a concern. The pad is made by 3M.
