PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

- The filter is IR 580, INFRARED filter .

- The filter diameter is 72mm. ( Lens cap ,extra filters, etc. can be attached. )

- The filter glass is made by B270 glass of German SCOTT

- The filter both sides are ultra-precisely polished to maintain a high filter flatness accuracy. (Ultra Low Reflection Filter)

- The filter is water-proof, oil-proof and dust-proof with the Best Multi Coating System.

This filter is for the infrared photography that cuts visible light and transmits infrared light.

580nm or more red light and infrared light are transmitted, so a modified camera with an infrared cut filter removed can reproduce a mix of visible light (red) and infrared light. The same effect can be obtained with a normal camera (by shooting in B&W mode).

In most cases, the use of a tripod is recommended, as shutter speeds will be slower even under the day light. The product was developed under the supervision of Dr. Takuya Tamura.

It is designed to have very high transmittance of visible light and very little bluish tint when shooting with long exposures. You will notice that this is different from the common.

The oil-proof, waterproof, and dust-proof coating is so strong that it can be wiped with an ordinary cloth, and it is especially nice to be able to quickly wipe oil, etc. from hands and move on to shooting. In general, you have to wipe with a special pad or cloth.
