The KANI Premium Dual Purpose GND 0.75 is a uniquely versatile graduated neutral density filter that allows photographers to achieve multiple effects with a single filter. By simply flipping the filter orientation, you can enjoy three types of GND characteristics:

• Soft GND 0.75 – Smooth gradation, perfect for balanced exposures

• Reverse GND 0.75 – Strongest density at the center, ideal for sunrises and sunsets

• Hard GND 0.75 – Strong upper ND gradation for scenes with high contrast at the horizon

This innovative design was developed in collaboration with renowned photographer Junichi Date, and took over six months of rigorous testing and refinement. All sample images were provided by Mr. Date himself.

The filter features a maximum density of ND0.75, slightly lighter than the standard ND0.9, providing subtle yet effective exposure control without over-darkening the scene. It’s designed to perform well in a wide range of conditions—especially when you want more nuanced control over light balance.

KANI's Premium LR MC coating delivers ultra-low reflectivity, even when shooting directly into the sun. Internal reflections between the filter and lens surface are significantly reduced, minimizing flare and ghosting.
