The KANI Premium Reverse GND 1.2 is a high-performance graduated neutral density (GND) filter designed to handle extreme brightness differentials — such as shooting directly into the rising or setting sun. With a maximum density of ND16 (4 stops), the strongest light reduction is positioned at the center of the filter, gradually fading toward the top edge. This makes it ideal for capturing powerful sunlight positioned low on the horizon.

Compared to the ND0.9 (ND8) version, this ND1.2 filter is recommended for high-intensity lighting environments, such as tropical sunrises or sunsets.

Constructed from SCHOTT B270 optical glass (Germany), this filter ensures superior clarity and flatness thanks to dual-sided ultra-precise polishing. The Premium LR MC Coating significantly reduces internal reflections between the lens and filter, making it highly effective for shooting directly toward bright light sources without flaring or ghosting.

With excellent light transmittance, minimal color cast, and a rugged coating that resists water, oil, dust, and smudges, this filter is engineered for professional results in demanding conditions.
