Product Description:

The KANI Premium Soft GND 0.6 Long Version (100x150mm) is a specially developed graduated neutral density filter featuring an extended gradient range for enhanced control in complex lighting conditions.

Unlike typical GND filters, which have a sharp or soft gradient over a short range, this long gradient version offers a gradual transition over 90mm of the filter surface. The top 30mm maintains a maximum density of ND4, the middle 90mm fades smoothly, and the bottom 30mm is clear—making it ideal for scenes with irregular horizons, such as mountains, cityscapes, or where fine control of the transition is crucial.

This unique design was developed based on the request of Mt. Fuji photographer Mamoru Watanabe. It's especially recommended for:

• Landscape photography with uneven horizons

• Portraits with bright skies

• Creative use in switch-type holders with multiple GNDs layered for precise exposure control

Made from high-quality SCHOTT B270 optical glass (Germany) and finely polished on both sides for maximum flatness and clarity. The Premium LR MC coating delivers ultra-low reflection (between ND and clear zones), significantly reducing flare and ghosting even in backlit scenes.

The filter also features strong hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-dust coatings, allowing easy cleaning and reliable performance in challenging outdoor environments.
