The KANI Premium Soft GND 1.5 Long Version (100x150mm) is a uniquely designed graduated neutral density filter developed in collaboration with portrait photographer AZU, to meet the demands of modern portrait and landscape photography with wide, seamless tonal transitions.

This long gradient version provides a gradual ND transition across a 90mm range, offering maximum flexibility in various lighting scenarios:

• Top 30mm: ND32 (5-stop) maximum density

• Middle 90mm: Smooth soft transition

• Bottom 30mm: Clear optical zone

It is ideal for scenes requiring strong light reduction in the upper area while maintaining clarity below—perfect for sunrise/sunset portraits, mountain ranges, or even backlit urban shots.

This filter is also highly recommended for use with switch holders, allowing the user to stack multiple GND filters for enhanced dynamic range control. It is especially beneficial when shooting:

• Uneven horizons (e.g., mountains, forests, architecture)

• Portraits with bright skies

• Layered ND usage in switch filter holders

Made from German SCHOTT B270 optical glass, it features dual-sided ultra-precision polishing to maintain exceptional flatness and clarity.
