This filter ring (for 58mm filter diameter) allows quick attachment and removal of circular filters.
The contact point with the lens is made of EVA (synthetic resin) and the ring is press-fitted into place.
It allows you to shoot without a filter or with a filter in an instant, and also allows you to quickly change to another filter. A strap and hook are provided to prevent the filter from falling out, allowing for a quick response.
The packing at the contact point with the lens may deteriorate after a few years, depending on how often it is used, so a replacement pad is available for this purpose.
