These pads are used as a countermeasure against rays of light from the side when shooting with long exposures using ND high-density filters.
When using with the Half GND, the pads are attached to the holder side, so attach the Half GND to the front and the full surface ND or LPRF to the subject side.
The light-shielding pad is a cut-out sheet, and the excess sheet in the middle can be used for attaching to the holder side where reflection is a concern. The pad is made by 3M.
